Travel and Expense

    If travel is required for any service, Travel and Expense (T&E) includes mileage @ $0.50/mile road travel, air fare if applicable and $150/per diem for motel and food. T&E will be billed at the time of service.

MeltLab 5 Service Contracts (click to request)

    MeltLab Service Contract for the year 2009 includes all updates and unlimited email and phone support. The latest version will be available for download though the Service Contract. Service contract also extends warranty on electronic parts inside of meltLab convertor box. Certin restrictions apply. See Service contract for details. Standard price $995 per unit.

MeltLab 3 Service Contracts (click to request)

    MeltLab 3 Service Contract for the year 2009 includes unlimited email and phone support. (Latest Version is 2007, no new versions are anticipated). Latest version will be available for download though the Service Contract. Standard price $595.

    Restore MeltLab System: if you have totally lost your software but still have a working MeltLab converter box, then we can upgrade you to the latest version of Windows98 for the standard price of $995. Additional costs may apply to repairing the MeltLab box, or T&E if required. You will be required to produce a picture of the inside of your MeltLab converter box so that we can properly configure the software license.

Upgrade from Version 3 (click to request)

    Optional Upgrade to Basic MeltLab 5 for XP includes item 1 and 2. Requires MeltLab 3 Service Contract. This includes 1 year service contract. Standard price $8,995.

MeltLab Calibration and Maintenance Contract (click to request)

    Optional Calibration and Maintenance Contract (requires service contract). Covers once a year calibration of the MeltLab, instrument checkup and part replacement at no charge for parts inside the MeltLab converter box that fail due to age or any reason not covered by normal insurance. Not covered would be fire, lightning, major power spike, or physical damage. Calibrations are scheduled on a first come basis. Please schedule in advance where possible. Standard price $500 + T&E.

MeltLab Emergency Service Calls (click to request)

    Emergency service calls with service contract, minimum 4 hours at $150/hr + T&E.
    Emergency service calls without service contract, minimum 4 hours at $200/hr + T&E.

    Emergency telephone support with service contract: no charge.
    Emergency telephone support without service contract: $100/hr.
