MeltLab XP (Win2000, WinXP)
Introduction
MeltLab XP is the result of over 15 years research and 3 years of programming effort. It is intended to be the very best thermal analysis system for foundries. It includes a degree of accuracy unparalleled by any system on the market, a new statistical calibration method that can give +/- 0.1 degree from your calibrator at 6 sigma (more accurate than your calibrator). You can switch between F and C temperature scales at any time (with the click of a button) for current tests or recalled tests.
MeltLab XP knows how to locate the "best" eutectic, and is not fooled by gas bubbles, shrinkage, carbides or oxide arrests. In fact the advanced version will identify each of these problems.
The software can identify S1 and S2 ratios, though we do it a little different than our competitor (we think better) and call them by more proper metallurgical names.
Again we are using derivatives to reliably identify all these arrests. Our smoothing method has been refined further to allow us to see and measure very small events such as gas and shrink. Check out the rest of the information here and give your MeltLab representative a call.
